In collaboration with curator Chiara Giovando and designer Neil Doshi, we created the Outside Museum, a plein-air exhibit showing work in the vast desert landscape of a boulder garden in Joshua Tree, CA. Outside Museum aimed to build a bridge between Portland and LA based artists and was presented in partnership with Thousand Points of Light Residency and High Desert Test Sites. A list of nationally recognized artists exhibited and performed for the span of a weekend in the harsh and wild setting of the Mojave Desert, with the goal of exploring the inherent nature of entropy, both in site-works and in relationship to more formal exhibitions.
